Qualifications National Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (advantageous). Trade Test (Electrician, Plumber, Fitter, Millwright) preferred. Health & Safety Certification (e.g., SAMTRAC, NOSA) is an advantage. Experience 3–5+ years experience in maintenance management or technical supervisory role. Experience in hotel/lodge, manufacturing, commercial property, or hospitality maintenance is highly beneficial. Proven experience managing a team and handling contractor relationships. Skills & Competencies Strong technical knowledge (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC). Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. Ability to manage budgets and inventory efficiently. High attention to detail and organisational skills.
