An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and hands‑on Maintenance Manager to join a large, full‑service hotel and resort located in the Drakensberg, KZN. The role is ideally suited to a single candidate due to its remote, live‑in nature and requires strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills and a proactive approach to maintenance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and develop the maintenance team to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Plan and manage preventative and reactive maintenance programmes.
- Ensure all plant, equipment, buildings and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standard.
- Manage contractors and service providers where required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, statutory requirements and company standards.
- Monitor maintenance budgets, stock control and procurement of maintenance supplies.
