Reporting to the Quarry Manager, this is a key site-based leadership role with genuine ownership: you'll drive Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), embed a strong planned and preventative maintenance regime, and build a high-performing maintenance team that keeps plant reliable, safe and cost-effective.
Your day will involve:
- Developing and overseeing the maintenance strategy, ensuring planned and corrective work is scheduled and executed across all fixed and mobile plant
- Driving OEE improvement by tracking availability, performance and quality metrics and implementing corrective actions
- Leading a continuous improvement culture within the maintenance team, embedding sustainable process and asset improvements
- Controlling the site's R&M budget and developing CAPEX business cases where investment supports safety, compliance or reliability
