About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Fitter to join our diverse and inclusive team at our Bricks manufacturing site in Golden Grove. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting with general maintenance and breakdown work to keep our operations running smoothly.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Champion a zero-harm environment and safety-first culture, ensuring to always follow the Never Walk Past principle.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Complete planned maintenance tasks, fault diagnosis, and breakdown repairs, as well as any modifications requested by your Supervisor.
- Mechanical Fitting: Perform maintenance related to extruders, kiln rails, strappers, brick handling machinery, conveyors, bearings, and rollers.
- Machine Operation: Occasionally utilize machine tools, including pedestal drills, lathes, and milling machines.
