Mainframe System Programmer – Atos , Mexico – Remote, Full-time Job Overview

Atos is looking for a Mainframe System Programmer to support the installation, maintenance, and administration of the z/OS Mainframe operating system. This role plays a key part in ensuring system reliability, performance, and security while supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a global and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities Install, upgrade, and administer the z/OS operating system, including RSU maintenance Perform system changes in line with Atos security standards and internal controls Provide IPL support and resolve JES2/JES3 issues Maintain TSO/ISPF environments, including CLIST, REXX, and PROC maintenance Perform MVS tuning and manage PARMLIB Create and manage LPARs Execute SMP/E activities including Receive, Apply, USERMOD, and exit management Install and upgrade ISV products such as CA1, CA7, CA11, Syncsort, File-Aid, Abend-Aid, Mainview, System Automation, A...
