Job Responsibilities
- Shift - must be able to work shift work, as this happens when workload changes (steady afternoons – Mon‑Thurs hour shifts is also an option).
- Study drawings and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and the sequence of machining operations using knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and machining methodology.
- Verify conformance of the details to specifications by using measuring instruments such as scales, calipers, micrometers, Vernier, and fixed gauges.
- Must have own tools: Micrometer up to , Interapid indicator, dial indicator, Vernier, Telescope gauges, adjustable wrench, Allen wrench set (Metric/standard), machinist stone, indicating chair, edge finder.
- Recognize the functions of the specific controller capabilities, program parameters to load, evaluate and run a specific program.
