Machinist (General Salvage Technician) - Journeyperson

Position Overview

As a Journeyperson General Salvage Technician (Machinist) at OEM, you will be responsible for operating machine tools to manufacture direct materials and salvage worn parts for use in the remanufacturing process. You are a seasoned machinist who takes pride in the quality of work that you consistently produce.

Job Description

• Perform salvage techniques on various machines such as horizontal lathes, radial arm drills, small or large milling machines, and operation of CNC equipment (lathes and mills).
• Maintain and clean equipment as required.
• Maintain Caterpillar contamination control initiatives.

Qualifications

• Machinist Journeyperson ticket, or interprovincial Red Seal, is required.
• Preference given to those who fall within the value stream & qualify as defined in Schedule C.
