We are seeking a Machine Safety Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience in analyzing and managing risks related to industrial equipment. The role is based in Toronto with a team located in Mississauga.
Responsibilities
- Conduct risk analyses of equipment and machinery in various industrial environments
- Prepare detailed technical reports on the results of risk analyses and the solutions to be implemented
- Develop recommendations to improve machine safety in accordance with applicable standards (CSA, ISO, OSHA, etc.)
- Design, test, and implement machine safety systems (safety controllers and relays, guardrails, interlock systems, safety sensors, etc.)
- Participate in system testing and commissioning
