Our client, a leading supplier within the construction and steel manufacturing industry, is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join their team in Bassendean on either day or afternoon shift.
This role is focused on processing reinforcing steel (rebar) used in concrete and masonry construction projects. You will operate specialised machinery to cut, bend, and shape rebar to customer specifications before preparing finished products for dispatch.
About the Role
Your duties will include:
Operating rebar processing machinery, including coil processing machines, guillotine cutters, and bending equipment
Cutting and shaping reinforcing steel to production requirements
Bundling, stacking, and securing finished products
Operating an overhead crane to move materials throughout the warehouse
