Position Summary/Description:
The UNC Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine is recruiting for a fixed-term Clinical Assistant Professor to be responsible for the management of patients with Lung Transplantation. Interest and skill in managing patients with Interstitial Lung Diseases, Pulmonary Hypertension, or other pulmonary diseases is also desired.
In this role, the selected candidate will act as a lung transplant physician, participating in the care of inpatients and outpatients before and after lung transplant, and as pulmonary disease physician, attending to outpatients in a pulmonary subspecialty clinic, consulting on difficult inpatients, and being responsive to referring physicians.
