The City of Edmonton is looking for some dedicated people to join us as Light Rail Train (LRT) Cleaners. If you like keeping things tidy and making a real difference for your community, this may be the perfect job for you!
As an LRT Cleaner, you will be a key part of making sure our trains and train stations are clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone who uses them. Your hard work will keep our city moving smoothly and make people feel good about riding the train. This is an outstanding chance to work with a friendly team and do important work for our city.
What will you do?
- Inside the train: You will sweep and vacuum the floors, wipe down seats and railings, and make sure the driver’s area is clean.
You will also hand wash the inside walls and windows and get rid of things like gum and graffiti. - Outside the train: You will wash the outside of the trains and clear away snow and ice to keep things safe.
