Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to its fullest potential in order to facilitate the life cycle of an order.
Responsibilities
- Exceed customer on‑time pick‑up and delivery expectations.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers contracted to the account as well as other carriers operating in your geographical region.
- Review and correct inbound shipment data integrity (i.e., ISD).
- Conduct proactive analysis to prevent service failures.
- Develop, recommend, and implement cost‑savings and/or service‑improvement programs in support of the transportation strategy.
- Provide professional and timely communications.
- Identify patterns with shipper, receiver, and carrier performance and recommend actions for improvement.
- Resolve financial discrepancies in TMS financials – e.g., carrier invoice mismatches – by reviewing, making adjustments in TMS, and responding to Accounting to ...
