A Network Designer (ND) manages the vehicle transportation network from the terminal plants to the various markets.
Activity Description
The goal is to create and optimize the transportation network between terminal plants and customer countries, with destinations as continental or maritime compounds.
An analysis must be performed using various data to determine which modes of transport to use, at what frequencies, and whether it is necessary to issue a Transport RFQ. The RFQ is a request for transport pricing from different carriers; responses are analyzed and a carrier/flow selected.
