Logistics Manager – Construction Materials

Our client, a large Canadian supplier of raw materials in the construction and infrastructure domain, is looking to hire an experienced Logistics Manager. In this role you will be responsible for the planning and coordination of logistic operations for the company.

Responsibilities

• Develop logistics plans and contingency strategies
• Plan, schedule and coordinate deliveries to customer job sites
• Oversee loading and unloading activities, including ports, yards and job sites
• Supervise preventative maintenance procedures, including pre/post trip inspections
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain records for materials in transit and on site
• Resolve delivery issues and ensure stakeholders are updated on status
• Coordinate with Operations teams on handling, storage and distribution of materials
• Hire, lead, coach and support staff
