Logistics Manager (Burnaby)

We are hiring a Logistics Manager to oversee and coordinate the planning of logistic operations for a major Canadian supplier of raw materials used in construction and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop logistics plans and contingency strategies.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate deliveries to customer job sites.
• Oversee loading and unloading activities, including ports, yards, and job sites.
• Supervise preventative maintenance procedures, including pre/post trip inspections.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain records for materials in transit and on site.
• Resolve delivery issues and keep stakeholders updated on status.
• Coordinate with Operations teams on handling, storage, and distribution of materials.
• Hire, lead, coach, and support staff.
• Ensure staff training is completed, including health and safety, operational procedures, and other required competencies.
