Purpose of Role: During the internship, the student will assist the Logistics Leader in coordinating the movement of goods through various modes of transportation, including air, ocean, and parcel.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain insight into global logistics processes, including international shipping, customs, and carrier management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and trace shipments to provide real-time updates about their location and status
- Manage and organize documents ensuring they are accurate, accessible, and compliant with international shipping regulations and company policies
- Perform timely and accurate high-volume data entry to internal systems
- Maintain communication with carriers, vendors, and customers to resolve shipment issues and delays
