About The Role
As a CBRE Loading Dock Receiver, you’ll provide service and support to the facility by handling shipping and receiving tasks. This job is part of the facilities management team. You are responsible for the physical receiving and handling of goods at a loading dock, overseeing the unloading of incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of goods against purchase orders, and ensuring proper sorting and storage.
What You’ll Do
- Move and handle large and cumbersome freight in a dock environment
- Utilize proper handling techniques to ensure items are protected from damage
- Ensure all inbound and outbound freight is accurately and efficiently received and shipped in accordance with company procedures.
- Escort delivery vendors in to and out of the facility. Direct delivery vehicles to appropriate locations.
