Job Overview

New position in the Aircraft B1, B2, B1/B2 Maintenance Technician (localised in Madrid Area) for MRTT. Part of LMA in Airbus Defence & Space, the role includes performance and certification of tasks, including supervision and certification of unlicensed mechanics’ work. A security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognised authorities is required.

Responsibilities

• Execution of modification embodiment or repair working parties, managing complex, high‑value, cross‑functional projects in compliance with EASA/FAR Part 145 airworthiness regulation.
• Conduct upgrades embodiment activities on external customer aircraft.
• Perform major and complex repair projects.
• Perform and certify both scheduled and unscheduled tasks previously agreed with the customer.
• Coordinate small groups of non‑licensed mechanics in the performance of maintenance activities.
