The Linux Administrator will Serve as an Advocate for Service Quality and Reliability in a Medium Sized Cluster of About 1500 Linux Server(s). You will be Expected to Image, Configure, Monitor, and Troubleshoot the Server(s) and Service(s) to Ensure a Smooth Performance and Act as a First Line of Defense when Issue(s) Arise within a 24/7 Support Coverage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as the First Line of Defense for all Service Quality Issue(s), Analyze Performance Bottleneck(s) and Service Weakness(es) for Improvement(s) as a First Response, Responsible in Sending Alert(s), Metric(s) Analysis, Handling Escalation(s), and Debugging of Service Issue(s)
- Troubleshoot and Analyze Production Problem(s) Using Production Tool(s) to Understand and Resolve Issue(s), Escalate Issue(s) to Next-Level as Needed, Contribute in the Expansion of the Knowledge-Base and Write Clear and Concise Documentation(s) on Symptom(s) ...
