Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients, cook food, and plate dishes
- Cleaning: Clean and sanitize their work area, store ingredients, and take out trash
- Time management: Meet deadlines by knowing how long each step of their station's workflow takes
- Safety and sanitation: Follow health codes and nutrition and sanitation guidelines
- Communication: Work well with other cooks and chefs
- Adaptability: Be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Culinary graduate from Culinary School
- Minimum 1.5 years’ experience in non-Asian restaurant
- Knowledge of baking and pastry techniques and equipment
- Attention to detail and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
