Position Summary
Prepares and cooks food items according to standard recipes, quality standards, and timelines in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Works as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations, maintain food safety, and deliver satisfying dishes to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients (chop vegetables, portion meats, measure spices) for daily service.
- Cook menu items (grilling, frying, sautéing, baking) as assigned by the head chef or sous chef.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and cooking procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work station (including equipment, utensils, and surfaces) in compliance with health codes.
