The Leuven Institute of Criminology (LINC) was founded in 2007. It currently groups about 70 professors, researchers and assistants involved in criminological research and teaching. LINC forms part of the Faculty of Law and Criminology, KU Leuven.


Project

  • You will be starting a four-year PhD position, in the new research project Framing Justice for Victims, funded by KU Leuven and under the supervision of professor Antony Pemberton, in cooperation with emeritus professor Stephan Parmentier.

  • The aim of the project is to identify atrocity victims needs via qualitative case studies of the Syrian and Ukrainian diasporas. To do so the project will consist of in-depth narrative interviews with victims of the violent conflicts in Syria and Ukraine, residing in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
