Lifting Engineer / Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise lifting operations at the site
• Prepare and review lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements
• Ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely and according to approved procedures
• Supervise crane operations, lifting equipment, and rigging activities
• Coordinate with site teams, crane operators, riggers, and project management
• Inspect lifting gears, tools, and equipment to ensure validity and safety compliance
• Ensure lifting operations comply with UAE HSE standards and project requirements
• Monitor critical lifts and ensure proper execution
• Verify load capacities, lifting arrangements, and equipment certifications
• Conduct toolbox talks and lifting safety briefings
• Maintain lifting records, inspection reports, and documentation
