Lifeguard and Swim Instructor YMCA

Become a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at The Steve and Sally Stavro Family YMCA, offering both contractual roles with competitive pay rates. Deliver swim lessons, ensure safety, and engage with participants and families.
This is a contract hourly position with flexible hours as needed. We're looking for dedicated candidates with current Lifeguarding and Swim Instructor certifications. You will be responsible for developing lesson plans, coaching swimmers, and maintaining safety standards at the pool.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere to all safety procedures and emergency protocols
• Develop and implement engaging swim lesson plans
• Communicate participants' progress to parents
• Conduct attendance tracking and equipment checks
• Assist in cleaning duties related to the pool
Requirements:
• Current National Lifeguard and First Aid certifications
• Previous experience in lifeguarding or swim instruction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
