Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of all sortation activities during the assigned shift, including inbound receiving, sorting, and outbound loading, in alignment with the Sorting Center's operational strategy.
- Manage the shift's workforce, including supervisors, equipment operators, and support personnel, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, task assignments, and performance monitoring.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment, operation of material handling equipment, and adherence to established procedures.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators during the shift, such as sortation throughput, quality metrics, and safety incidents, to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
