Overview
Sellick Partnership are delighted to work with an excellent local authority based in Yorkshire who are seeking a Licensing Lawyer to join them on a locum basis, for an initial period of 3‑6 months but expected to be a long‑term rolling contract.
Location & Hours
Yorkshire - Hybrid. 1‑2 days per week. Part‑time hours are well suited, but full‑time hours are also considered if desired.
Responsibilities
Attend in‑person licensing sub‑committees at the council and appeal hearings in Yorkshire. Work with an experienced, friendly, and cohesive team and may be combined with a caseload of prosecutions and/or anti‑social behaviour enforcement cases.
Qualifications
Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive (CILEx). Experience in licensing or related legal practice is desirable.
