Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Winnipeg)

Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct nursing services to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities that focus on health promotion, restoration, maintenance, and prevention of illness and disability and palliative care. The Nurse is responsible for providing total patient care but may delegate some aspects of care to other health care team members in a staff mix model (e.g., Resident Assistants). In addition to providing direct practical nursing services, the Nurse functions as a key member of the professional health care team and is responsible for providing day‑to‑day instruction and feedback to the Resident Assistants assigned to their care team.
