Responsibilities
- Administer medications.
- Apply aseptic techniques including sterile dressing.
- Conduct specimen collection.
- Ensure infection control.
- Monitor nutritional intake.
- Observe and record medication’s therapeutic and side effects.
- Record observations in patient files.
- Take vital signs.
- Provide safety and health education to patients and families.
- Provide nursing services within defined scope of practice, based on assessment and care planning.
- Monitor patients’ progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with healthcare team.
