Role Summary:
Support the health, safety, and well-being of students by providing direct nursing care, administering treatments and medications, monitoring health conditions, and assisting with the implementation of individualized health plans. Your daily efforts help students remain healthy, safe, and ready to participate in educational programs and activities.
Core Responsibilities
+ Performing treatments and procedures such as (but not limited to) soaks, recording vital signs and weight, medication administration, accompanying students on trips.
+ Screening students for illnesses, including height, weight, scoliosis, vision, hearing.
+ Administer first aid as needed using School Health Services medical policies.
+ Communicate appropriately with School Nurse, school personnel and parents.
+ Carry out medical providers' orders as required.
