Your Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Devon General Hospital. Acting as an advocate, coordinator and liaison for the patient, the LPN identifies needs and set priorities in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team. The LPN participates in nursing assessment/interventions, care planning, implementing prescribed treatments, administering medications, evaluating treatment, and monitoring/documenting treatment progress and patient response. The LPN will also participate in quality monitoring activities and facilitate patient and family centered education and discharge planning in accordance with the established standards, and the vision, values, policies and procedures of Alberta Health Services.
