Bassano Health Centre is an acute and continuing care facility. Core programs include 24‑hour emergency, medicine, ambulatory care services, primary care clinic services, and community health. The centre has 4 acute care beds and 8 continuing care beds. As a member of the Co‑Act team you will provide a variety of nursing services, ensuring patient safety and well‑being. The LPN provides safe and effective nursing care according to AHS policies and Continuing Care Health Service Standards. Working within the full scope of practice, the LPN observes, monitors, reports, and documents changes in patients’ physical, mental, and emotional states and assists patients with activities of daily living. The LPN collaborates as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team to deliver consistent quality care that meets patient needs.
