Key Details

• Monday to Friday regular shifts with some overtime and weekends
• On‑call approximately 8 weeks per year
• Part‑time position available for interested candidates

Responsibilities

• Work on various residential, commercial, municipal, industrial, and occasional mining sites
• Install, repair and maintain pipes, fixtures, pumps, valves, water meters and other plumbing equipment/systems used for water distribution and wastewater disposal
• Assist with cost estimates
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors; cut openings to accommodate pipe and fittings
• Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines
