Summary

Comprising of those employees engaged in the servicing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, modification, installation, and functional testing of all types of radio, radar, cabin management and other types of navigation systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, install interconnecting wiring between major units, remote controls and indicating devices, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings
• They also must be familiar with standard avionic installations, practices, materials, manuals pertaining to avionic systems and installations
• Avionic technicians shall also assist in the removal and re-installation of any interior furnishings and will also be required to carry out minor repairs to the aircraft interior based on his expertise
• Licensed Avionic technicians may be required to certify avionics installation using company issued ACA when required
