Cape Breton Regional Library’s 11 branches serve the community by offering innovative programs, access to technology, and a wide range of lending services, including books, DVDs, recreational equipment, radon detectors, and eBooks. Our libraries are welcoming community spaces for residents and visitors of all ages and backgrounds, and we recognize and respect the unique needs of individuals and communities.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and circulation support, including checking out materials and registering patrons for library cards.
- Assist patrons in locating library materials and answering questions.
- Answer incoming phone calls and notify patrons of items ready for pickup.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to plan and deliver engaging programs and activities for children, youth, and adults.
