The library assistant will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the librarian in a busy public library in Dubai. This is a part‑time position perfect for someone with experience in a library setting and a passion for books and helping others. The ideal candidate will be detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work independently. Fluency in English is preferred but not required. This role is open to all nationalities.
Responsibilities
- Assist patrons with locating books and materials.
- Check books in and out using library software.
- Shelve returned materials accurately.
- Help maintain the organization and cleanliness of the library.
