Liability & Casualty Claims Adjuster

Responsibilities

• Adjust claims while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized.
• Market and follow up on opportunities in a timely manner.
• Create a dynamic portfolio requiring highly honed organizational skills to enable day-to-day activities to be completed while ensuring efficient progress of file management activities.

Qualifications

• University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance is nice to have.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• CIP designation or working towards designation.
• Adjuster’s license or have completed a minimum of the first four CIP courses: C11: Principles and Practice of Insurance, C12: Insurance on Property, C13: Insurance Against Liability—Part 1, C14: Automobile Insurance—Part 1, C110: Essentials of Loss Adjusting (Nice to have)
