Role OverviewTMX Group’s General Counsel’s Office (GCO) is seeking a Counsel to support TSX Trust Company on a variety of commercial matters. This role is a thirteen‑month contract, hybrid (2‑3 days per week in the office) based in Toronto, ON.
Key AccountabilitiesWork with TSX Trust Company’s staff, including the senior management team.
Assist in guiding the business through regulatory changes and industry developments.
Support contract requirements for sophisticated commercial transactions, including strategic projects and business alliances.
Support ongoing technological operational optimization initiatives with vendor agreement reviews and assessment of regulatory requirements impacting trust operations.
Provide legal advice and support for the development and execution of commercial strategies and initiatives of TSX Trust Company.
