The Office of University General Education (OUGE) oversees the offering of two courses of the University Core Requirements —Understanding China and Hong Kong in the Wider Constitutional Order under the General Education China Programme.
We are interested in applicants who are trained in the discipline of Humanities and Social Sciences with a focus on China. Applicants with a background in economic development or international relations would be especially welcomed. The appointment will be at the rank of Lecturer.
Applicants should have (i) a Ph.D. degree in the Humanities or Social Sciences and (ii) a strong commitment to teaching and the pursuit of knowledge. Research credentials on China-related topics, fieldwork experience in China, or experience teaching China studies would be an advantage.
