Salary

$39.09 – $48.64/hr, depending on experience and qualifications as per the BCGEU Faculty Collective Agreement. Temporary employees receive an additional 2% on regular earnings in lieu of benefits, 6% vacation pay and 4.2% statutory holiday pay included with each pay day.

The Learning Support Specialist (LSS) is a regional position supporting students learning and wellness, with a focus on the students located at the Fort St. John campus and registered in distance studies. This is a key position in NLC's student retention strategy and in NLC's students in distress plan.
