Learning & Development Specialist - Contract (Mississauga)

Overview

The Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist is a key strategic and functional expert responsible for elevating the capability of the L&D team and the business. This role serves as a trusted advisor to the Manager, driving organizational development through expert consultation, advanced instructional design, and exceptional facilitation. The Specialist will ensure L&D initiatives are strategically aligned with organizational priorities and act as the principal facilitator and design mentor for the team. The position is a 12-month contract.

Position Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner to the Manager, assisting with organizational wide L&D strategy, annual planning, and priority setting based on organizational goals.
• Lead the end-to-end design and development of complex, high-impact learning solutions, including blended learning, interactive workshops, leadership programs, and strategic internal consultation models.
