Lean Manufacturing Engineer

**RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL**:
Under the general direction of the Lean Manufacturing Engineering Manager, develops and implements new processes and machinery, standard times and manufacturing procedures for the fabrications and assembly areas.
The basic objectives of this manufacturing engineer are: keeping processes safe, efficient, zero waste, as well as the continuous improvement and cost reduction of all current processes.
Also responsible for the successful implementation of new products and major design changes for the facility.
The basic objective is to achieve the on time delivery, the efficiency, quality, cost, and safety targets.
This senior engineer is also responsible for maintaining the current plant layout and for evaluating the future requirements of growth and footprint capacity optimization.
