Chandos is searching for a proactive Senior Estimator to manage estimating for a significant nuclear project in Ottawa or Toronto. Deliver accurate bids while driving timelines and aligning stakeholders effectively.
You will play a key role in overseeing full-cycle estimating for large-scale nuclear or industrial projects. This position requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of estimating experience, ideally from a general contractor background. You'll need to balance details with judgment while ensuring alignment between estimating, operations, and project leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead full-cost estimates from conceptual to detailed phases
• Develop pricing strategies for labour, materials, and equipment
• Evaluate risks and contingencies to support commercial decisions
