Required Skills and Experience
- Hands‑on experience with Linux/Solaris servers in virtualized environments
- Familiar with HPE & Oracle (SPARC) hardware (servers)
- Familiar with fundamentals of Linux/Solaris scripts
- ITIL knowledge of incidents, change, and requests
- Proficient with network tools such as iptables, LINUX IPVS, Solaris IPMP
- Knowledge of virtualization solutions such as Client Simplivity
- Red Hat Satellite knowledge for patching
- Knowledge of Centrify for user management; familiarity with CyberArk, BMC TrueSight, RSA SOC
- Knowledge of SAN storage, SAN switches, and NAS storage
- Familiarity with METIS for tracking requests, changes, and CMDB
- Experience handling P1/P2 critical incidents and mentoring a team
- Prior experience in financial services or other highly regulated industry
