Responsibilities
- Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and maintain a hazard‑free work environment.
- Enforce safe working methods and behaviors within the team.
- Conduct safety audits and warehouse checks.
- Respond to emergencies and lead the unloading of the truck, ensuring team efficiency and enforcing safety measures.
- Leadership & Team Support
- Motivate and lead sorters; be their point of reference.
- Mentor and support Package Handlers during the sort process.
- Coach and mentor warehouse associates, including training new hires.
- Respond quickly to requests for changes and unforeseen events, forwarding special cases to supervisors or managers.
