Lead Hand – Water & Sewer Construction
WCL is looking for an experienced Lead Hand to support the foreman with day‑to‑day operations on our underground water and sewer crews. This role bridges the gap between the foreman and crew, keeping work safe, organized, and productive.
Responsibilities
- Support the foreman with day‑to‑day operations on underground water and sewer construction.
- Coordinate laborers, pipe layers, and operators.
- Direct work, solve problems, and keep crews on task.
- Enforce trench safety and site safety practices.
- Communicate clearly with foremen and project supervision.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in underground water and sewer construction.
- Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead Hand, Topman, or Pipelayer.
- Strong understanding of pipe installation, line and grade work, and trench operations.
