Lead Contracts Engineer (Project & Engineering)

Job Purpose

• Select the most appropriate implementation strategy, applicable contractual instrument and pricing structure for the scope in question.
• Responsible for the interface with Procurement on all pre-award matters including strategy preparation and approval, tender evaluation and award recommendations.
• Focal point for all post contract activities including routine administration formalities and change management, where necessary in conjunction with Legal, Procurement and other Directorates.
• Analyze and mitigate delay and disruption claims through to finalization including interface with Legal where necessary, and support to Legal for continuing disputes referred for external resolution by mediation or arbitration.
