The Vacancy

We have a current requirement for a lead civil design engineer to join our design function based in Glasgow on a permanent basis. The role of the Lead (Civil) Designer is to manage the production of discipline specific engineering design deliverables for a range of multi-disciplinary engineering projects. This includes the design and assessment of various civil structures, typically encountered on water and wastewater sites. This might include the design or assessment of concrete plinths, base-slabs, retaining walls, tanks, channels and flumes, etc. designed to resist specified static and dynamic forces generated by the equipment or medium placed upon, in, or adjacent to them. You will also be required to consider the construction aspects of the aforementioned structures, including ground conditions, buildability and demolition.
