The Role
The Lead Buyer is responsible for overseeing procurement activities for assigned vessel pods while providing leadership and support to a team of Buyers and Senior Buyers. This role ensures the timely, cost‑effective, and compliant sourcing of technical stores, spare parts, and services required for vessel operations.
The Lead Buyer serves as a key point of coordination between vessels, suppliers, technical teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain operational efficiency and procurement excellence.
