Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years experience operating manual or CNC lathe machines
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools
- Skilled in boring, drilling, threading, and tapping operations
- Welding knowledge/experience is an advantage
- Physically fit able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials
Key Responsibilities: Lathe Machine Operator
- Set up and operate lathe machines to fabricate, modify, or repair metal parts and components.
- Measure and inspect finished workpieces to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools.
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain precision.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.
