Become a vital part of the Township of Langley as a Guard in the RCMP Division. This full-time role involves monitoring prisoners and supporting police services.
Reporting to the Manager, Business Support Police Services, the selected candidate will undertake various tasks related to prisoner custody and facility cleanliness. Responsibilities include maintaining surveillance, inspecting living areas, and partnering with officers to process inmates efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure prisoners' security and welfare at all times
• Conduct inspections of cells before and after use
• Manage cleanliness in cells and surrounding areas
• Keep accurate records and log books of prisoner activity
• Provide assistance in prisoner processing when needed
